Confirmations arrived from La Repubblica's newspaper today about Nicolo Fagioli's betting scandal. His season has ended prematurely.
The Juventus midfielder was the first player identified in this chaos and he is also the first one to take the fastest route: collaborating with the relative authorities in the investigation.
According to what has been reported, the 2001-born player will not be available to the Bianconeri club from now on. Therefore, he will miss the match against Milan next weekend. He is heading towards an 8-month suspension, to which at least another 5 months of additional penalties will be added (education on the risks of gambling in schools). The agreement with the Federal Prosecutor for the plea bargain is said to have been reached by his lawyers.
