AC Milan's Geoffrey Moncada is keeping an eye on talents in Europe, such as Germany's Assan Ouedraogo. But, there is also an eye on talents out of Europe.
According to what was reported by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, a Rossoneri club scout was in Argentina recently to watch Ezequiel Fernandez, a central midfielder from Boca Juniors.
Fernandez was born in 2002. He is four years older than Ouédraogo. AC Milan club management likes the player and he is seen as a candidate to fit in well in the 4-3-3 formation. He can rotate with Rade Krunic and Yacine Adli.
There is only interest for now and no concrete steps towards starting negotiations were made. But, it seems that Liverpool and Benfica have also taken note of the 21-year-old player.
It's too early to anticipate the movements in January and June, but the sense remains: AC Milan management has not stopped looking for young talent, they're in talks with Betis for Juan Miranda, and they're also exploring the market in South America.
