The criticism from Antonio Cassano towards Rafael Leao continues. The retired forward has commented on Leao's performance against Paris Saint-Germain and said to BOBO TV:
"Leao really thinks he's a phenomenon, without actually being one. In reality, it doesn't seem to me that he scores three goals against Empoli, three goals against Verona, or three goals against Bologna."
Cassano then continued to talk about Rafael Leao.
"He's been in Italy for six years... He responds to me with clown faces or to someone else... I need to see that he makes a difference. He earns 8 million euros, He's the strongest player at Milan, and in those matches, he never gives me anything in terms of performance."
Cassano added:
"To touch the ball 50 times, protect the ball, push the team forward, do a one-two, switch play. That's what it means to be a player, not just taking the ball, lowering your head, doing a backheel or putting on a show. Against PSG, they left him one-on-one many times and he was never seen."
