Tijjani Reijnders has become an important player for Stefano Pioli. There is no hiding that. The Dutchman is a talented player and has already contributed to the Rossoneri efforts in several games this season. However, the goal is still missing.
La Gazzetta dello Sport dedicated a headline to the 25-year-old player and wrote the following words:
"Reijnders, where is the goal? The Diavolo expects a breakthrough in front of the net"
The newspaper explained that the Dutchman came from AZ Alkmaar with a reputation for shooting and finding the net. However, despite providing two assists so far, he is yet to score. He did have opportunities to score. But, he always missed his chances.
Last season, Tijjani Reijnders scored 7 goals and made 12 assists in all competitions. He also made 54 appearances, he played for the full 90 minutes in majority of said 54 matches which is a very impressive feat.
