AC Milan have struggled in several matches to convert the chances they had on the pitch. Against Napoli, however, they finally found the net twice thanks to Olivier Giroud who broke the goal drought. It is clear, though, that his services alone up front are not enough to lead this team to the top of the league table and also to compete with the top European clubs in the Champions League competition.

This is why the Rossoneri are thinking of reinforcing the attack in the future. La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition insist once again that Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani are keeping an eye on Lille's striker Jonathan David whose deal runs until June 2025.
As per the source, Lille could ask for a transfer fee around 40 million euros or even more. However, they won't ask for the initial 60 million euros which was demanded in the summer transfer window.
According to the Italian newspaper, AC Milan will surely revisit the topic of Jonathan David soon, in view of a possible transfer move in the summer.
