AC Milan are looking to sign a centre-back in January, according to reports, especially after the serious injuries of both Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino.
The physical issues of the two defenders led to a discussion between the coach, Stefano Pioli, and the Rossoneri management, regarding the arrival of a new centre-back possibly in January's transfer window.

According to Defensacentral, the AC Milan club directors are considering a name on the agenda: Nacho Fernàndez from Real Madrid.
The problem is that Real Madrid is also not well-stocked in this position on the field, and it wouldn't be a good time to let the Spanish defender leave. Therefore, the club is aware that Nacho might be interested in this proposal, but it will not be approved in January.
Los Blancos will stand firm and will not consider any offers that come in for their central defenders in the winter market. Therefore, Nacho will remain at Real Madrid until the end of the season, and afterwards, we will see what happens with the player's future.
