The summer transfer market for Stefano Pioli's Milan seemed to many as a turning point, but at the beginning of November, more and more doubts are arising. This is what is read on Gazzetta.it, where the first months of the 10 acquisitions by the Rossoneri are evaluated.
Certainly, Marco Sportiello is passing his test, as before getting injured he played 3 matches and performed very well, and Christian Pulisic, who, in addition to scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists in 13 appearances, balanced the attacks on both wings, lightening the load for Leao and Theo Hernandez who are on the left flank.
On the other hand, the other two right-side acquisitions have been rejected for now: Samuel Chukwueze has not yet been able to show the qualities he displayed at Villarreal and has also been injured, while Luka Romero, against Napoli and Udinese, has failed to make an impression.
The judgement on Noah Okafor, however, has been postponed after scoring two goals against Cagliari and Lazio but has not been seen since. Luka Jovic, on the other hand, has been completely rejected.
A special mention goes to Tijjani Reijnders, considered a puzzle by the Gazzetta: he had a great impact but has drastically declined in recent matches.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has performed well, although he was out for many weeks, and Yunus Musah, who still has a lot of room to grow.
Lastly, Marco Pellegrino is difficult to evaluate: he was called into action against Napoli, where he did not perform well and also got injured, but he had arrived as a prospect for the future, as relayed by Milan Press.
