Niccolò Ceccarini, an Italian journalist, has written an editorial in Tuttomercatoweb's website, focusing on the profiles that AC Milan could target in defence in the upcoming January transfer window. Below are their names, as relayed via Pianeta Milan.
25-year-old Englishman of Bournemouth: Lloyd Kelly:
"Milan is considering Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth. The English club doesn't seem inclined to let him go so easily in the middle of the season, despite his contract expiring next June. Tottenham also expressed interest in the summer. For Milan, this remains an important option."

21-year-old French defender of Montpellier: Maxime Esteve:
"Another opportunity is represented by Maxime Estève, a 2002-born defender from Montpellier, who has been sought after in the past. For now, he has found little playing time and could therefore be available for a modest fee. His valuation before the end of the summer transfer window was around 6-7 million euros, but now the demands could be lower despite a contract until 2025."

AC Milan also follow Greek centre-back Konstantinos Koulierakis who is 19 years of age:
"Another possibility is Konstantinos Koulierakis, a central defender from PAOK and the national team. In short, a player with exponential growth already targeted by Moncada. It's clear that this is an even more complicated option, as just over a year ago he renewed with the Greek club until 2026. PAOK is asking for at least 10 million, it remains to be seen what kind of investment Milan will be willing to make."
23-year-old Spanish left-back of Real Betis, Juan Miranda:
"Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are moving well in advance on Miranda, the left-back from Betis, who will become a free agent in June. Milan has already received his approval, so now it remains to be seen if the Spanish club will be willing to negotiate a transfer in January for a relatively low fee, around 3 million euros. Otherwise, the operation, barring sensational developments, will be carried out for the next season."
