In the previous summer transfer market window, AC Milan signed 10 players into the men's first team. The Rossoneri management brought several reinforcements to different departments, including the attack. However, it seems that the team is struggling to score lately especially with Luka Jovic failing to impress.

The discontent is further fueled by the sight of a player, a product of the Rossoneri youth academy, who has become a protagonist of another excellent match. We are talking about Lorenzo Colombo. The class of 2002 chose to move to Monza in search of more playing time and, for now, the decision seems to be paying off.

In fact, Colombo has done really well for himself yesterday (watch his two goals here), also helped by Raffaele Palladino's tactical system. Of course, we are not talking about the numbers of an absolute striker, 3 goals and 1 assist in 9 matches, but just watching a slice of a match is enough to realise the great work that the former Lecce player is doing, writes Pianeta Milan.

AC Milan's loanee Lorenzo Colombo is a useful player...

He creates plays, provides assists, partners with teammates, and puts himself at the service of the team. Colombo can only grow, and one wonders if he could have done the same at Milan. In the Rossoneri, he would have found less space, that's true, but he could have benefited from the teachings of a striker like Olivier Giroud.
