In this morning's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, we read that AC Milan's coach, Stefano Pioli has started to lose the trust of the fans gradually due to this difficult period of the season. However, the club management seems to hold a different opinion.
In the midst of this tough moment, following a frustrating and disappointing 0-1 loss at home against Udinese, the Rossoneri club decided to maintain trust in their coach. The owner's message is clear: focusing on what's to come. There is really no intention of changing the coaching staff at the moment, especially given that the team has an important Champions League match tomorrow against Paris Saint-Germain at the San Siro.

The club continues to have faith in the coach and they will continue to support his project, as reported by the Italian newspaper.
The next two matches before the final break of 2023 for National Team duties, namely the ones against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League at 'San Siro' and the away match against Lecce in the league, will naturally have a significant impact on Pioli's future. Two victories would put Milan back in the race for the round of 16 in Europe and keep them within a reasonable distance from Inter in Serie A.
If AC Milan lose the two coming games, however then it will officially be a real crisis for the Rossoneri management.
According to the same source, there is certainly no anti-Pioli conspiracy within AC Milan, even though a sense of bewilderment among the players is noticeable. In recent weeks, Pioli has made decisions (regarding lineup and tactics) that haven't paid off. Now, it seems like everything is against him: 21 injuries in total, an attack that no longer scores, Tijjani Reijnders' decline, and summer signings either unavailable or disappointing.
Now, the question is, will Stefano Pioli manage to lift his team out of the difficult moment or not?
