There was a lot of talk about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's possible return to the club in the last few hours, of course as part of the management.
As reported by Il Corriere della Sera, the agreement with Gerry Cardinale, whom Ibra met on Monday in Milan, has been reached: the former striker will not be included in the corporate structure, but will be a sort of a trusted advisor of the RedBird founder.
There are no clear indications about what kind of role it will be exactly, but what is for sure is that Ibrahimovic's return is getting closer and closer.
Giorgio Furlani leaves the door open for Zlatan Ibrahimovic...
In fact, yesterday, Giorgio Furlani, a Milan supporter, didn't reveal too much, but he still left a door open for Ibra: "He is a great champion, dear to all Milan fans. We've been talking for months, we'll see. It would be a pleasure to work with him."
As a testament to the fact that it's only a matter of time, yesterday morning the Swede posted on social media to mark the anticipation ("tic, toc, tic, toc"). Ibrahimovic's return is now imminent.
