AC Milan suffered a frustrating and disappointing draw away from home against Lecce. The first half was excellent for the Rossoneri. However, they totally collapsed in the second half and allowed two goals in their net.
This morning, Il Corriere dello Sport speaks of a crisis for both Milan and Pioli. What else could be said after a series of four league matches in which only two points were earned?
From the last international break to the one starting tomorrow, the Rossoneri played, excluding the Champions League, two big matches (against Juventus and Napoli) and two games against teams that were considered beatable on paper (Udinese and Lecce). The loot was meager: they could have earned up to 12 points, but only two were obtained.
In addition to that, the only two points garnered by the Rossoneri came in the same way, against Napoli and Lecce away: a double advantage after a great first half, followed by a comeback in the second half after succumbing to the first difficulty.
Now, a league victory has been absent for over a month: the last joy for the Rossoneri was the away match at Marassi against Genoa, a match won at the last second thanks to Pulisic's brilliance.
When the league resumes at the end of November, with the match against Fiorentina, the Rossoneri will have been without a Serie A victory for 49 days.
