AC Milan managers have reportedly scheduled a meeting with Stefano Pioli during the international break to discuss the squad issue and form in the league.
The main mission will be to find a solution to avoid the catastrophe of muscle problems that have plagued Milan, also trying to prevent them as much as possible. A possible answer could come from a study analysed within the Rossoneri club.

As per Calciomercato.com, in the NFL, a study was conducted indicating that "during the acceleration from 80% to 100% of an athlete's sprint speed, the amount of mechanical energy that the muscle must absorb increases by 50%."
The amount of high-intensity sprints that Milan players perform, the club informs, is probably the highest in Serie A. The more frequently these high-intensity sprints are done, the more the muscle suffers, and the more often the muscle is injured, the more easily it will be injured again. So what is the way to minimise them?
There is no 100% accurate answer; there are different systems on how to follow certain diets and how to help a player recover after a game. But, there are still some possible solutions: investing heavily to update everything and be able to predict when a player needs to rest or have a light training session; changing the playing system to one less focused on pressing; making better rotations on the field to prevent the injuries and trying to have a deep enough squad. Solutions to be studied, but Milan must take action.
