During the summer transfer window, there was a player who, more than others, could have left AC Milan, but in the end, he stayed at the request of the coach. We are talking about Rade Krunic, the Bosnian midfielder who enjoys the trust of Stefano Pioli.
The player was wanted by a few clubs in the summer transfer market window, but above all by Fenerbahce. However, Pioli made it clear that he does not want the Rossonero number 33 to leave his squad.
Now, with the winter transfer market window approaching ,a negotiation could reopen soon. In fact, Sporx, a Turkish outlet close to Fenerbahce, claim that Krunic is once again on Fenerbahce's radar especially since AC Milan have not been able to renew his contract yet as talks between the club and player's entourage have stalled.
The former Empoli midfielder, 30, has already made 12 appearances so far this season for AC Milan (9 in Serie A and 3 in Champions League). He played for a total of 853 minutes. His contract with the club runs out in the summer of 2025.
