Interviewed by TalkSport, AC Milan's English centre-back, Fikayo Tomori spoke about his adventure with the Rossoneri and his call-up to the England national team.
Here are his statements, as relayed via Pianeta Milan.
On the call-up to the England national team:
"Obviously, not being called up can be frustrating, but for me, it's an extra motivation to do well and improve my style of play. I've tried to do that, and this season I've been called up on every occasion so far. The next goal is to play more matches and remain in the national team setup."

On coaches Stefano Pioli and Gareth Southgate:
"The Premier League is a different league compared to Serie A. However, I believe it's about the small details, what Pioli asks of me and what Southgate asks of me. Those small details that might be present in one game but perhaps not in the next. My goal remains to improve, and this season has started very well."
On the transfer to Milan:
"Going to Milan has helped me, it has allowed me to have a different perspective from how people see football. The league in Italy is different, and so are the people who follow it. Not only that, but in football, my life has also changed, and the Italian culture suits me. Normally, Italians are calm, but when it comes to football, they become very passionate. It's a different experience, and I have learned a lot."
On teammates, Tomori said:
"Every time I come back here, I try to listen to my teammates, to improve. There are many top players in the team, and for me, it's easy. In training, you play with Harry Kane, with Wilson, with Watkins, and these are players who challenge you, stimulate you to improve. We help each other; in the end, we all play for the same team and have the same goal."
On defensive duties:
"Details make the difference. What to do with or without the ball, communication, these are important things for a defender. Being good at finding the right pass or positioning oneself in the best way to help the team when defending. These are things they've asked me, but in some matches, they might ask me different things. The coach helps me, and I know there's space for me in this team."
On the Euros, Tomori said:
"Obviously, I was disappointed not to be called up for the World Cup, being so close and then not going with my teammates was tough. I always try to play and improve at Milan, and I know Southgate is watching me, so I have to play at high levels consistently. I believe that disappointment can be used as motivation to go to the Euros, and I know I can do it."
