AC Milan want to reinforce the attack, given that Olivier Giroud is the only reliable player in Stefano Pioli's team while Luka Jovic fails to earn the trust of the coach.
According to what has been reported in the last few weeks, Jonathan David is the name on the Rossoneri's list to strengthen the squad.
Confirmations have arrived from Fabrizio Romano who explained that the player is indeed a top target for the club in view of the summer of 2024.
In fact, the deal could only be feasible for AC Milan in the next summer due to the current high price tag. The idea is that the Rossoneri managers will try to sign him for a lower fee when there would only be one year left in his contract with Lille.
Jonathan David, the 23-year-old Canadian centre-forward, however, is not only wanted by AC Milan, but also in England. As per the Italian journalist, he is on the shortlist of three Premier League clubs.
The former Gent striker has featured in 18 matches for Lille this season so far. He scored 4 goals and provided 2 assists to his teammates.
