In recent weeks, there has been much talk about the future of the current AC Milan head coach, Stefano Pioli, but especially in these hours after the heavy defeat against Dortmund at the San Siro stadium.
The former Fiorentina, Lazio, and Inter boss is definitely not in a comfortable position right now as the results have been disappointing this season, especially against some top clubs in the league and in Europe as well.
According to what is reported by the Italian journalist Nicolo Schira today, former Milan legend and ex coach of Genoa as well as the Ukraine national team, Andriy Shevchenko, has been offered to the club by some mercato intermediaries as a possible manager to replace Stefano Pioli until the summer.
As for AC Milan, however, Sheva's profile does not fully convince Gerry Cardinale and his men at Casa Milan.
Stefano Pioli, for now, remains the coach. For context, his contract with the Rossoneri runs until the summer of 2025. He earns a salary of 4.2 million euros net per season.
