AC Milan club management would like to extend the contract of Bosnian midfielder Rade Krunic. The former Empoli player, who is highly rated and trusted by head coach Stefano Pioli, has a running contract with the Rossoneri until the summer of 2025.
According to the latest news reported by the Italian website Calciomercato.com, it seems that the negotiations between the club and player's entourage have not been fruitful so far. In fact, there is still a significant distance between them in order to reach an agreement to extend the deal.
In case of failure to reach an agreement, AC Milan and Rade Krunic could part ways in January already.
For context, recent reports have confirmed once again that the 30-year-old player remains a target for Turkish club Fenerbahce. So far this season, he has made 14 appearances, 10 in Serie A and 4 in the Champions League competition.
