According to what German journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky DE reports, Bayern Munich is already working on the post-Manuel Neuer era.
The Bavarian executives are pleased with the recent renewal of the goalkeeper's contract, but at the same time, they are considering several profiles in case the former Schalke player decides to retire in the 2025 year.
Among the players being closely monitored is AC Milan's French star Mike Maignan, whose contract expires in June 2026.
The 28-year-old shotstopper is one of the names on the list. He is reportedly closely observed by the German club.
