Rade Krunic is closely followed by Turkish club Fenerbahce, even in view of January's transfer window despite the failed attempts in the previous summer transfer window.
The first contacts occurred many months ago with Pioli and Milan, who held onto the player tightly as he had secured a starting position. However, the problem will resurface in the coming transfer sessions because the Turkish club still do not give up on the Bosnian player.

In fact, they might take advantage of the contract renewal standstill. The Bosnian's contract expires in June 2025, and talks about extension have stalled, with Rade seeking an increase from 1.5 to 2.5 million euros per year. Therefore, it's not certain whether the player can be retained between January and July.
Milan already has a top name in mind as a potential replacement. They're eyeing midfielder Samuele Ricci, born in 2001 and currently playing for Torino, a player highly sought after by Lazio during last summer.
Ricci is on the list of potential new targets for Milan, but his arrival, as well as that of another player in his position, is directly linked to Krunic's situation.
If the Bosnian were to depart, even in January, Milan might swiftly move for the Torino player, as per Tuttosport's in this morning's print edition.
