Paolo Maldini's interview with La Repubblica (You can read it here), in which he didn't hold back criticism towards those managing Milan, caused quite a stir.
Even one of his former great teammates at AC Milan, Alessandro Costacurta, commented on it to Sky Sport Italia, expressing surprise at the strong words from the former captain and executive of the club.
Here's what he said:
"I was surprised by the timing and also by the words. He aimed high, I'm not sure who he was talking about, but he tried to hit these people quite heavily. Knowing him, I believe they called him to talk at this moment, it seems strange that he initiated the conversation."
In fact, even former Milan legend, Filippo Galli, spoke to the media and said that Maldini's interview was at the wrong time (here are Galli's statements). What do you think?
