The first goal by Luka Jovic with Milan is no accident. The Serbian striker, who scored his very first goal with the Rossoneri shirt last Saturday night against Frosinone, also provided the assist for Tomori's 3-0 goal with a perfect pass, seems to have stepped up his game, well aware that one such performance should only be the starting point. Moreover, he doesn't lack the confidence of the AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli.
Radio Milanello reports that in the days following Borussia Dortmund, Jovic further intensified his commitment in training, even staying behind after sessions with teammates to practice certain movements that could prove useful in matches.
This additional work probably also contributed to his positive performance, as per Milan News.
