Giorgio Furlani, AC Milan's CEO, was interviewed by DAZN before the Salernitana-Milan match. Here are his statements.
On the Super League:
"President Scaroni has already spoken about this, and I refer to his words. A lot has happened, and we all need to understand, study, and analyse a bit. Much has been said, I don't know how many have thoroughly studied it, but for us, the priority is to focus on Italian football and the issues it faces, such as making Italian football better and competitive at the European level."
Regarding Gerry Cardinale's statements expressing disappointment about the Champions League results. What are the objectives you have in mind?
"Firstly, Gerry wanted to extend Christmas wishes, then, in my opinion, he didn't express contentment, but he's someone who doesn't settle because he's a winner, and obviously, Milan wants to win. As for objectives, we are still in the race for three trophies: the Coppa Italia, Europa League, and Serie A. We would have liked to still be in the Champions League and have gained a few more points in the league, but we're here, and we'll try our best until the end. It's our duty, for us and for our fans."
On the January transfer market, Furlani said:
"Firstly, we believe we have a strong team. Of course, we've been affected by the injury problem, which, however, has given young players the opportunity to showcase their worth. As you've seen this summer, we are not shy or inactive in the market. If there are opportunities in January, we will seize them. First and foremost, we have faith in our players and the team."
About Zlatan Ibrahimović, Furlani commented:
"Zlatan is a special person with a lot to offer. He can do a lot. He has already done so much for Milan, and he will do even more. I am fortunate to have him with me, Milan is fortunate, and all Milan fans are lucky. I am very happy and confident about this new Milan adventure of his."
