In an interview with 'TG1', Paolo Scaroni, AC Milan's President, spoke about the Super League as follows:
"I have read a press release of twenty lines that is not a sufficient basis to express definitive opinions. We have started a process to engage with all the bodies, starting with the League: we had a board meeting this afternoon, but it is too early to express opinions."
Scaroni also commented on Italian football:
"The Italian football system is losing ground. We never have any advantages. We had one, which was to benefit from foreign players with privileged tax treatment, and it's taken away from us. I hope that the government and parliament in the coming days will remedy this because it's a bad blow for Serie A."
