Ruben Loftus-Cheek spoke to DAZN at the end of the Salernitana-Milan match. Here are his statements:
Disappointed or satisfied with the comeback?
"Definitely not satisfied. Everyone in the locker room is very disappointed; we feel it's a defeat. We came here, didn't play as we should have, and didn't get the three points. We started well but let them get back into the game. Obviously, when you play away, it's not easy; the crowd makes the difference. Certainly not one of our best matches. We are very disappointed."
How do you explain this situation? Loftus-Cheek answered:
"I think now we need to let the disappointment and all the negative emotions we feel simmer down. Tomorrow we'll talk more calmly, with a clear mind, and try to find a solution."
Do you still believe in the championship title?
"Anything can happen; we can't ignore that there's still a lot to play. You can never know in football. We have to believe, but we have to take it one game at a time; we can't get too ahead of ourselves. We need to win matches like this. We have to find a solution to win these types of games and focus on one match at a time."
