Fabio Ravezzani, a well-known journalist and director of 'TeleLombardia,' commented on his X profile regarding the situation of Stefano Pioli, following the draw between Salernitana and Milan.

"Two considerations on Pioli. Maldini had suggested his dismissal. The current management removed Maldini and increased Pioli's powers. Dismissing him in December would acknowledge that everything was wrong, which isn't necessarily bad, provided the situation is resolved brilliantly. Some say: 'But Maldini had renewed Pioli's contract!' True. However, Pioli had achieved remarkable things up until a year ago. It's absurd not to renew. After all, almost all top clubs undergo dismissals. That said, Maldini (who made serious mistakes) had raised the issue in due time."
