AC Milan hit the 30-mark regarding the injuries.
According to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the 'culprit' for the fans, and perhaps now for the club management as well, is Matteo Osti, who has been working with Stefano Pioli since 2011.
Osti was involved in the athletic preparation of Chievo in 2010 and then Palermo. In 2011, he began collaborating with the current Rossoneri coach, working for Lazio, Inter, Fiorentina, and Milan.
After all these injuries, however, Osti cannot escape blame. Even Pioli's words after the game against Salernitana provide clues: "The situation is complex, honestly, there are many. It's a problem we need to try to solve quickly, but at the moment, we are definitely facing difficulties. We're putting in everything we have in terms of collective and individual preparation, prevention, and care."
Pioli also said:
"We've been working together for a long time, and there are many of us working at Milanello, but at the moment, what we're doing is not yielding the desired results."
