The AC Milan club managers are very close to securing the arrival of Matija Popovic to the team.
The Serbian talent who turns 18 on January 8, should arrive on a free transfer from Partizan Belgrade as his contract with them officially expires in the next few days.
According to what has been reported by Calciomercato.com, an agreement between the player's entourage and the club has been found based on a five-year deal.
Popović will be in town in the first half of January to put pen to paper with the Rossoneri club. In recent weeks, Manchester City had strongly entered the picture, but Matija chose to confirm the commitment made to Moncada and D’Ottavio: with the final reservations regarding the non-EU player slot resolved.
