Arrigo Sacchi, in his usual piece for La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, has commented once again on the difficult moment of the Rossoneri team. He, once again, explained that the 'original sin' for AC Milan was signing too many foreign players, who take a lot of time to adapt to a new environment.
Here are Sacchi's words:
"In my opinion, it all started in the summer transfer market. They only bought foreign players who didn’t come from brilliant experiences, and moreover, they had to adapt to Italian football. But can we understand that it's complicated for a player coming from abroad to tune into our wavelength?"
Sacchi then added:
"Even great champions have had difficulties. If you build a completely new team based on foreigners, it would require patience. But patience in football, as we know, is a rare commodity."
