Bad news for all of Serie A football. During the Council of Ministers, the measure contained in the initial drafts of the Milleproroghe decree, which extended fiscal discounts for athletes, including footballers coming from abroad, until February, has been scrapped.
Consequently, teams in Serie A will not be able to benefit from the incentives of the Growth Decree in the winter transfer window.
This decision, risks significantly impacting not only the market for Serie A clubs but also the competitiveness of the league itself.
Starting from January 1, 2024, Italian teams will no longer enjoy any benefits regarding incoming operations or the salaries of already registered players.
