The AC Milan club has officially announced through their website that an agreement has been reached to end Matteo Gabbia's loan spell at La Liga side Villarreal early.
As a result, the Italian centre-back who is 24 years old will rejoin the first team today.
Gabbia, in his time in Spain, participated in 7 league matches and 6 Europa League fixtures. He played a little over 970 minutes in total.
