Simone Inzaghi, Inter's head coach, spoke at a press conference after the match against Hellas Verona in Serie A, which was filled with controversy and ended in victory for Inter (2-1).
The Nerazzurri coach also made sure to shed light on the conditions of the San Siro pitch, recounting an incident related to an AC Milan match. Here are his statements, relayed by Pianeta Milan:
"It's not just a problem with San Siro; many teams have faced issues. The other day, I was watching Milan's game and immediately called Marotta; it's disadvantageous for anyone playing here. We were aware of it; unfortunately, it's been since the match against Udinese that this pitch, which was once excellent, has been in tremendous difficulty."
Simone Inzaghi continued:
"Remedies need to be sought; it's not only penalizing Inter and Milan but also anyone who comes here to play. Today, we were penalized, and of course, when facing pitches like this, one must pay attention to everything."
