On the eve of the Coppa Italia match between Milan and Atalanta, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was interviewed by Sportmediaset. Here are his statements.
On the differences between English and Italian football:
"After being here for six months, it's clear to me that Italian football is more tactical, and it's a very difficult championship. All the teams are tactically organised both with and without the ball, making every match complicated. I accepted the challenge to keep playing as much as possible in a fantastic league."
Regarding Milan-Atalanta, Loftus-Cheek said:
"A footballer wants to win every game, but sometimes it's not possible. We are very motivated for the match against Atalanta, especially after losing to them in the league. So, we have the opportunity to play against them again and get a victory. We are motivated."
About Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"He's an idol here at Milan. Since he returned to the group, he has spoken to us, and I completely agree with him that in this club, we want to win every game in the best way possible and win trophies. I think that's the minimum goal for a team like Milan."
