AC Milan are willing to invest in a new centre-back given the injuries which haunted that position this season. The attack, though, could see new reinforcement, but in the next summer. For now, coach Stefano Pioli and the club management are placing trust in the French striker Olivier Giroud and his Serbian teammate Luka Jovic.
La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper talks about the Serbian quota ahead of the Udinese match. The starting position should be for Olivier, who, however, has had problems with fever in recent days.
This opportunity could be given to Jovic, who has transitioned from a lost bet to an important alternative: the terrible start of the first period and the decisive goals scored in the last games could lead to an unexpected confirmation in the coming months.
Especially when considering the possible farewell of the Frenchman, to make room for the last stage of his career in MLS. Jovic wants to stay in Milan, even as a co-protagonist. Everything will be played in the second part of the season.
