Intercepted by Gianluca Di Marzio's microphones yesterday evening, Torino's president Urbano Cairo sent a clear message, once again, regarding Alessandro Buongiorno, who is linked with a move to the AC Milan team in this January transfer market window.
The Torino top executive has closed the door for any possible sale.
Here are his words:
"With Riso (Buongiorno's agent), we are in very good relations. As for Buongiorno, I've already said it's not a current topic, so Buongiorno remains with Toro, period."
Buongiorno, in fact, has renewed his contract with Torino last summer, and it runs until June 2028. He has played 19 games between Coppa Italia and Serie A. He has 3 goals and one assist, all in the league. He has played a total of 1677 minutes. According to Transfermarkt, his value is set at 22 million euros.
