The Udinese club shared a statement on their official website today following the racist insults which Mike Maignan received at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine:

"Udinese Calcio deeply regrets and condemns every act of racism and violence. We reaffirm our aversion to any form of discrimination and express our profound solidarity with AC Milan player Mike Maignan in light of the deplorable incident that occurred on Saturday in our stadium.

Udinese will collaborate with all investigative authorities to ensure the immediate clarification of the incident, with the goal of taking every necessary measure to punish those responsible.

As a club, we will continue to work diligently, as we always have, to promote diversity and the integration of all ethnicities, cultures, and languages among our players, staff, the city, and a fan base that has consistently demonstrated fairness."
