Despite the arrival of Matteo Gabbia and Filippo Terracciano, AC Milan could intervene in the transfer market to sign another defender. Pierre Kalulu, Fikayo Tomori, and Malick Thiaw will be out for some time, and it would be convenient for the Rossoneri to have a deep squad.
For this reason, Geoffrey Moncada, Giorgio Furlani, and Antonio D'Ottavio are reportedly looking around for a profile that can fit well into Stefano Pioli's squad.
The latest idea at the AC Milan headquarters comes from the Premier League. As reported by Calciomercato.it, the name of Ben Godfrey, previously followed during his time at Norwich and currently with Everton, has returned to Milan's radar.
The Rossoneri, however, would face tough competition from Sheffield United and Leeds if they are indeed intent on pursuing the player's signature.
Godfrey is 26 years old. The Englishman's contract with Everton runs until the summer of 2025. He stands at 184 centimetres tall. This season, he only played around 180 minutes only, featuring in three matches.
