Not only focusing on defence: AC Milan is also looking at possible reinforcements in midfield, always with a particular emphasis on young and promising profiles around Europe and the world.
The latest development is that the Rossoneri have made a move for a footballer with a football lineage. Milan has inquired about Federico Redondo (son of the legendary Milan and Real Madrid midfielder Fernando) from Argentinos Juniors.
The Argentine club has set a price tag of 12 million euros for the player's transfer. Currently, the 21-year-old midfielder is involved in the Pre-Olympic Tournament with Argentina, and the club is not willing to let him go immediately. Therefore, there might be a new attempt by the Rossoneri in the summer, as told by Gianluca Di Marzio.
The young midfielder, just twenty years old, has already gained considerable experience with his club. He has amassed a total of 58 appearances in the Argentine Superliga, Copa de la Liga, Copa Libertadores, and Copa Argentina.
He has scored two goals, similar to the number of assists. Federico could follow in the footsteps of his father: Fernando played for Argentinos Juniors and also for Milan (between 2000 and 2004), as well as Real Madrid.
