AC Milan are linked with Julen Lopetegui, the former Sevilla and Real Madrid coach. Confirmations arrived from the daily Tuin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
Among the many names that continue to be mentioned these days, that of Lopetegui hasn't warmed the hearts of the fans too much. Clearly at the top of the wish list of most Rossoneri supporters would be Antonio Conte, who attracts for his charisma and ability to bring out the best in the players he coaches.
Yet Conte is not considered too much by the club. Among the profiles that have emerged, the one of Thiago Motta of Bologna remains a vey intriguing choice. But, let's not forget also about Francesco Farioli, the Italian coach of Ligue 1 side Nice.
The truth, however, is that Milan has not yet moved, and in fact, has not yet made a decision on the technical leadership for the next season. The current priority of the club is to leave tranquility to the team and Pioli to try to achieve the remaining objectives: in particular, there is hope for an important journey in the Europa League.
An unexpected triumph in the Europa League could also lead the club to decide to confirm the coach. In any case, if actively Milan has not yet contacted anyone, certainly at Casa Milan, they are looking around to not rule out any possibility, especially if the paths with Pioli were to take different directions. But there is nothing more than a casting: strong decisions, one way or another, will be made. That will take place, however, at the end of the season.
