Rafael Leao has once again provided an assist in the last challenge against Napoli. The Rossoneri won 1-0 thanks to Theo Hernandez' goal. The Portuguese left-winger now emerges more of a playmaker rather than a finisher.
As emphasized by La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, the former Lille player wasn't as sharp in front of goal yesterday either.
In particular, during the second half, Yunus Musah gave him an excellent pass which he, after bringing it onto his right foot, sent wide from a good position. It's reported from Milanello that he's undergoing extra training for curling shots, but for now, they haven't borne fruit.
Rafael Leao currently has 7 assists in the Serie A competition, one less than in the last season. His Serie A goal, however, has been missing since September 23. A turning point is needed, but Milan awaits him and gladly accepts him even so.
