As pointed out by the Italian newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition, the Englishman, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who scored a brace against Stade Rennais in the Europa League at the San Siro stadium last night, knows the Europa League too well as he has won it in the past with Olivier Giroud when coached by Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.
In the post-match, the Englishman was quite clear about Milan's objective from now until the end of the season: "We have the qualities to win the Europa League. But we take it one game at a time. We have a good advantage going into the return leg. My position? I've played in different roles, but this position is the one I prefer because I'm closer to the goal. I found myself free twice and scored two goals."
