This morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Joshua Zirkzee is the favourite name in Milan's shortlist to reinforce the attack in the summer transfer window, in addition to having talent and still having ample room for growth, he already knows the Italian league.
Zirkzee is having a great season at Bologna, and obviously, the price of his tag is becoming significant: at least 40 million euros. A rather high figure, but to acquire a quality center-forward, it is unthinkable to spend less.
First, there will also be a need to understand the future of those who are already part of Milan's attack, namely Olivier Giroud and Luka Jovic.
The Frenchman is doing very well in Milan, but at 37, he might decide to try an experience outside of Europe before bidding farewell to playing football.
The United States could be an important opportunity for both him and his family. A decision will be made in the spring.
As for Jovic, the Serbian has a renewable contract with Milan, and discussions about adjustments are also ongoing in these weeks.
