Stefano Pioli gave an interview to Milan TV at the end of the match against Rennes, valid for the return leg of the Europa League round of 32.
Here's what the Rossoneri tactician had to say about the team's 3-2 defeat:
"It was a complicated match and qualification was tougher than we thought. It's good to progress to the next round, but not so good to have lost. We had the opportunity to score more goals, but we need to be more attentive and solid in defense. It was a demanding match; we know what it means to play in the Europa League. We'll recover our energy to put in a great performance against Atalanta, who have always beaten us this year."
On the draw to take place tomorrow:
"Everyone is strong. It will be difficult against anyone, but whoever we face won't be happy to play against us."
