AC Milan has qualified for the Europa League Round of 16 and has been drawn against Slavia Prague, a team from the Czech Republic currently occupying the second place in the national league and who, in the group stage of the European competition, defeated Roma, and finished first.
The coach of the Czech team is Jindřich Trpišovský, who has been the team's coach since 2018 spoke to Slavia's official website to comment on the draw.
"I am happy that we will meet another great club, this is always our desire. If there is an opportunity to experience another football holiday at Eden (Slavia stadium), we want to make it happen. Also, because Slavia has never played against AC Milan in modern history, it's nice that people can come to see the match between Slavia and Milan. Players like Leao, Giroud, or Hernandez will come. I am glad that we can face the hegemon of the nineties. For me, this is a team at the level of the Champions League. It is a great honour."
