AC Milan were unable to earn the win against Atalanta. They settled with a draw against Gian Piero Gasperini's squad.
The first goal came from Leao after three minutes from kick-off. Then, Atalanta equalised with a penalty by Teun Koopmeiners in the 42nd minute.
After referee Orsato's final whistle, Yacine Adli was interviewed by those at DAZN and said the following statements:
"I think we played the right game, we did many things, we put a lot of intensity. We all gave our best, we didn't lose the two points today, we lost them before in games where we could have put more heart into it."
Yacine Adli said:
"It's difficult to play against Atalanta, they always mark man to man. We tried to move a lot. I felt bad because in Monza I had a terrible game, I wanted to show that I belong to Milan and that I can play here."
He concluded:
"We have to keep moving forward, in a season there are moments like this. I don't know if there was a penalty today, I think so if you look at it on VAR. We pay for every little mistake but we have to push and move forward."
