The main goal of Milan is to conclude the season with the best possible result. Translated, this means advancing as far as possible in the Europa League to try to win it and aiming for second place in the league standings. Then it will be time for important decisions. The transfer market will bring the club face to face with important choices. What is certain is the need for a center forward, and the first name on the list is Joshua Zirkzee. He plays for and leads Bologna, but it might be convenient to negotiate with Bayern Munich to acquire him, writes Milan News.

As Tuttosport published this morning, the Rossoneri management sees Joshua Zirkzee as their top priority to strengthen the attacking lineup. The Bologna forward is having a standout season and will be the object of desire for several clubs across Europe. The situation is quite particular because Bayern Munich has an exclusive clause on the player worth 40 million euros, and even if this doesn't apply, they would still be entitled to 40% of any future resale. Because of this, the Bologna club, to ensure they gain something, would demand a very high figure if they find themselves managing the player's sale: at least 60 million euros. And it is for this reason that Milan would do well to negotiate with Bayern Munich rather than with Saputo's team, also because in Bavaria they have their eyes on some of the Rossoneri's gems, and the Rossoneri could even be willing to arrange a swap.
Either One or the Other...
The two gems that Bayern Munich has its eye on are Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez. Both are in unique situations with Milan. Neither is considered indispensable if the right offer comes along.
The Rossoneri goalkeeper's contract expires in 2026, and despite being a crucial part for Pioli's Milan, discussions for renewal have not yet taken off: according to rumours, the Frenchman aims for an equal or higher salary than that granted to Leao.
On the other hand, there's Theo, also with a contract expiring in 2026, for whom the agent could make similar demands. In this scenario, Bayern could find an ideal situation, especially since Neuer (due to age) and Davies (with aspirations to play for Real) might no longer be there. Faced with indecent proposals, Milan wouldn't hesitate; rather, they might decide to leverage Zirkzee. So, they could accept an offer of money plus the Dutch forward for one of the two French stars. However, as of today, it's still 'fantasy', nothing concrete.
