Today, AC Milan Primavera secured qualification for the quarter finals of the UEFA Youth League competition for the second consecutive year. Ignazio Abate's team fought hard against the Portuguese club Braga at the Puma House of Football facility.
The Rossoneri boys conceded the 2-2 draw in the final seconds. They, however, showed mental strength as they went on to win later in penalty kicks.
Among the great protagonists is also the French goalkeeper Noah Raveyre, who is becoming more and more of a certainty for the Rossoneri youth team. Here is what he said to the microphones of Milan TV:
On advancing to the next round:
"I'm happy for the team because we have a fantastic group. I'm very happy to be here with my teammates. The team deserves qualification because we played a very good match, we put our hearts into it to show that we are Milan and we are strong. I'm happy for everyone's work, I'm nothing without them."
On his experience at Milan, Raveyre said:
"It's my first year here, I wanted to learn Italian immediately because it's important. I like this country, the language, and the team. I wanted to show everyone that I came here to be a great goalkeeper and I'm very happy."
On Mike Maignan, this is what the Primavera goalkeeper said:
"Mike is a fantastic goalkeeper, I'm happy to be able to train with him. I really like how he is in goal, he's also French like me..."
