Paul Pogba has been sentenced to a 4-year ban for doping. The prosecution's request, which had asked for the maximum penalty for the French midfielder, has been accepted.

His positive test for doping, specifically for testosterone, was discovered following the match between Udinese and Juventus on August 20 last year, leading to his suspension. Now the actual ban has been issued. The next step, if necessary, would be an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
A heavy sanction for Paul Pogba. The French midfielder, who will turn 31 on March 15 next year, will be forced to stay away from the field for 4 years. Pogba has been absent from Juventus since September 11 last year when he was provisionally suspended pending the outcome of the process.
What's next for Pogba?
Now that the sanction has been issued, the next step for the player will be to appeal this decision. However, if the four-year ban is upheld, when could he return to the field?
According to Article 19, paragraph 8, of the CONI Anti-Doping Regulations, the former Manchester United player's ban should start from the day of his suspension, which was September 11. This would mean that the Frenchman could return to the field on September 11, 2027, at the age of approximately 34 years and 6 months, as relayed via Milan News.
