Rai Sport interviewed Massimo Ferrari, the CEO of 'WeBuild' regarding the San Siro stadium.
The CEO of the construction company, tasked by the Municipality of Milan with preparing a feasibility study within three months for the renovation of San Siro, provided some details on the idea to allow Milan and Inter to continue playing at the stadium during the works.
"We essentially plan to work from June to August, possibly requesting to move one game, either the last or the first if necessary. To increase the revenues of the two clubs, we need to focus on VIP clientele, sponsors, and additional services that can be built outside or near the stadium. For the new VIP area, in particular, there would be three solutions: to create it between the first and second tiers, to partly use that space and partly develop it outside, or to develop it only outside with preferential access to the field."
The two Milan teams listened to Mayor Sala in a face-to-face meeting a few days ago, but they are continuing to pursue their respective plans for Rozzano (Inter) and San Donato (Milan).
There are direct confirmations that both management teams, while carefully considering the requests of Palazzo Marino, consider the dossiers relating to the two new facilities as their top priorities.
