Jorginho’s agent on his client’s future: “We don’t exclude Milan or Inter”

Joao Santos, Jorginho's agent, spoke to Tvplay's microphones to talk about the player's future, particularly addressing the possibility of his return to Italy as a member of the national team. He stated:

"If we have to play a game, I would see him better at Lazio because of the presence of Mister Sarri, who knows his characteristics very well, but also at Juventus where there is a great sports director like Giuntoli, with whom he lived many beautiful years at Napoli. Then I do not exclude a return to Napoli with the new coach Calzona who previously worked with Sarri. As for Roma, I don't believe so because there have never been any contacts, but due to strength and tradition, we do not exclude Milan and Inter where everyone would like to play."

Regarding Arabian football, he said:

"I have been living in Istanbul for ten years. This weekend I am going to Riyadh where I will watch Al Hilal - Al Ittihad. In my opinion, Saudi football will endure over time because they have made a great investment, and in twelve years, they will have the World Cup. They are building many new stadiums that are already among the most important in the world."

On the future, Jorginho's agent said:

"We will evaluate the proposal that will come to the table and decide for his best interest. Obviously, the priority is the renewal with Arsenal because he is very happy with everyone there, but with the contract expiring, we hope the team that wants his best will come. Another goal is to receive another call-up to the national team from Spalletti. Regarding the return to Italy, the market is a bit slow now; before, it was more aggressive. I don't know if it's a matter of money and strategy, but until now, no Serie A big team has shown interest."

Jorginho is 32 years old. So far this season, he has played 25 matches with Arsenal (1137 minutes in total) with one goal and one assist registered to his name. His contract with The Gunners runs until the end of the current season, with an option to extend by another year.
